At 1-800-GOT-JUNK? we like to celebrate. Period.
We know that a culture of celebration is beneficial for our corporate family of staff and franchise partners. It’s also good for our customers and good for business.
In September, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? customers across North America had the opportunity to participate in our WIN BACK email contest. During the contest period, customers who booked a job were entered into the contest with an opportunity to win the money back that they spent on our junk removal services.
Each prize delivery was unique, as local teams planned how they were going to surprise their winners. From t-shirts, to balloons and oversized checks – the end result was lots of fun for everyone involved!
The Washington, D.C. team could not have been more excited when they found out that there was a winner in their local area. Like superheros on a mission, the Washington D.C. Prize Patrol came to life.
The winner’s reaction? Jane Shepard, self-proclaimed “Internationally Known 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Winner”, sent us this note:
“I laughed this morning when my living room floor was covered with bobble green balloons… I wore my T-shirt to work on Saturday…I was pretty much full of, well, super powers. I just want to thank you all very much for the opportunity to have wonderful service AND so much fun. Thank you again.”
On the west coast, exceptional prize deliveries to customers were happening as well. Will Herbe, Operations Manager of our Greater Los Angeles franchise, shared how the experience was not only wonderful for the winning customers, but for our teams as well.
“It was awesome. The (winners) were so happy. It felt great to present the (check) and to be there to see their joyous reaction.”
Our cheery teams like to create great customer experiences, and there’s no reward like a happy customer. When our customers are smiling, we feel like we’ve won too and that is always worth celebrating!
