Earth Day is the international celebration that encourages community members to learn how to create less waste and commit to sustainable practices. It’s easy to talk about making positive changes to your lifestyle, but making them happen is the tricky part. Print off this checklist to make your home more sustainable this year!
Sometimes it’s easier when you have your goals in front of you. We’d like to share this great ‘green home checklist’ from beTMdesign.com. Feel free to print it off (on recycled paper, of course) and hang it up on the fridge. Every time you head to the kitchen to make breakfast or dinner, this list will remind you of the promises you’ve made to yourself and your family.
Try to check off one or two items every month. If it will help, write down deadlines next to each line item that you intend to complete, and work back from there.
