Junk Hauler to be the Next Spiderman?

Jay goes “Over the Edge” for Cancer Research in Denver, Colorado

The upside of being a franchised business is that we are host to almost 200 individual business owners. Our franchise partners throughout North America and Australia come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse interests. As we’ve mentioned, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has jumped on board on international levels with select charities. We have a corporate partnership with Soles4Souls to aid in the transportation of gently worn shoes to people in need. This agreement extends beyond one or two cities; we are willing to help anywhere in the United States and Canada that Soles4Souls needs us.

Most of our 200 franchise partners also drive their own unique community service initiatives in addition to our national partnerships.  When it comes to a local campaign or charity endeavor, our franchise partners are encouraged to follow their passions and support the foundations that they are personally tied to.

Our Denver, Colorado location stands behind the local Cancer League of Colorado because franchise partner Jay Montgomery’s family has been affected by cancer. He explained, “to donate our time and money towards a cause that is impacting us directly, and unfortunately will again in our lifetime, seems like the right thing for us to do.”

Recently Jay and his wife, Stacy, literally went over the edge for this great cause!

After the two of them raised $3,500.00 (which goes directly to cancer research) they climbed atop one of Denver’s most prominent skyscrapers at 1600 Glenarm Place Luxury Apartments and rappelled down 31 stories!

It’s great to see that we have inspiring people in each major metro across 3 countries spreading Blue Wig Spirit everyday!
