Playoff decluttering challenge

I was mulling over ideas for this blog post while watching the Canucks lose to Chicago last night when I stumbled on a connection between junk removal and playoff sports. Crazy, I know!

Focusing on the win starts with clarity.

No matter your sport of choice, there is something special about the playoffs. It’s not just the prospect of your team winning the championship, there is truly a heightened sense of everything.

Players move faster, focusing on the moment while tuning out everything else. The successful player literally removes all distractions and mental clutter in order to establish and maintain that focus.

The player cannot concentrate on the task at hand if he is overly focused on the other team’s strategy or the post-game press conference.

We can all relate to this in our own way. It’s very difficult to make the most of our homes and our lives if we are constantly distracted by the things (mental and physical) we have around us.

So I had this on my mind and realized that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is really quite good at taking away our customers’ distractions so they have clarity to focus on improving their spaces and their lives.

Read 10 Tips for Clearning the Clutter from your Mind to learn more. Please note that clearing the clutter from your living space is one of the tips! Yes, it’s all connected!

Now if only I could find the magic bullet that would do the same for my favorite team…?!
